Ancestor Medals
Craft Your Legacy
Welcome
I hope this class feels like a journey that takes you gently into the past, through the stories of the people who came before you.
What We'll Make
We'll create a wearable or displayable piece of art that honours the lives and dreams that shaped who we are. You can use your own family photographs, or found photos. You will leave this class with something precious, made slowly, with love, and with your own hands.
No rules. No pressure.
Just freedom, curiosity, and play.

Who is This Class For?
This class is for you if...
You have become the keeper of old photographs and family stories and want to do something meaningful with them
You feel called to honour the memory of family members who are no longer here
You want to create something to pass down, a handmade object that carries your family's history forward
You are drawn to slow, meditative making with found objects and vintage materials
What Will You Need?
A vessel, a vintage tin, a pendant tray, or any found object that feels right. Found or personal photographs. Scraps of vintage paper, ribbon or fabric. That’s enough. I will guide you through every supply as we go, encouraging you to work with what you already have.
Why This Class Matters
We live in a world that moves very fast and forgets very easily. This class is an invitation to slow down, to sit with an old photograph, to look at a stranger's face, and to ask: who were you? What did you carry?
About Jack Ravi
Meet your guide.
I am a mixed media artist based in Scotland.
My work explores memory, time, and the stories hidden within forgotten objects.
In my classes, I invite you to create from intuition, curiosity, and joy. I don't tell you what to do, I try to show you how to look.
The rest is yours.
