Reclaiming Beauty - Original Mixed Media Artwork

£260.00

RECLAIMING BEAUTY

A cartridge reborn as a vase

serenading

life’s worn pages.

Found frame, cabinet card, hymns, nails, cartridge and rose.

(38x27 cm)

This original, one-of-a-kind piece comes accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity, assuring its uniqueness and provenance.

P.S. The dried rose will be included, but it's not fixed in place, giving you the flexibility to substitute it with a different flower or bouquet of your preference, making this artwork a collaboration between us.

This piece is from "Poetic Assemblages: Finding Beauty in the Odd", a new small and intimate series of work.

This unique collection takes the backs of antique frames, with their rusty nails and timeworn papers, and transforms them into vessels of expression.

An array of forgotten relics and found photos is then added to the frames: vintage purses, freshwater pearls, rusty tins, found cartridges, and delicate butterfly wings all find new purposes in this marriage.

In this series everything is upside down, imperfections are celebrated, stains become stories, and each artwork is a testament to the enduring magic of the discarded, an invitation to rediscover the enchantment of the overlooked through found objects that bear the scars of their journeys.

With only 10 pieces available, it's a first-come, first-served opportunity to own a fragment of my work.
