While searching my collection of found photos, I looked for men with a glint of personality and then magnified that spark to create a new story. This process is both personal and meditative, as I patiently stone each portrait, reclaiming stories that were erased, silenced, or forgotten.

For every individual that couldn't live as their authentic self, I add a stone. For every man or woman, who had to accept a life of compromise, I add a stone. For every person that lived a life that couldn't be authentic, I add a stone.
