Beyond is a hand-bound artist book exploring the relationship between humans, nature, and the elements. It began as a meditation on the sea and water, but as the process unfolded through burning, staining, and exposure to the elements, it evolved into a piece honouring all four classical elements, with wood as an added fifth.

The book is composed of three stitched signatures and a soft fabric cover, dyed with rust and tea. Each page carries the marks of wind, fire, water, and time, layered, textured, and shaped by an intuitive process.
