As a UK-based business, I acknowledge the historical injustices rooted in colonialism and systemic oppression that have shaped this society and economy. The prosperity of this country has been built on the exploitation of communities globally, from African enslavement to the exploitation of labor from various ethnic groups.
Recognising the privileges derived from this history, my commitment involves addressing these inequalities. To actively participate in anti-colonial change, I am initiating a donation fund. This fund aims to provide reparations and opportunities for marginalised groups, specifically Black and Indigenous students and members of the Queer community, who often face barriers to education and opportunities. This initiative invites those who can afford it to contribute towards one of my class fees, enabling me to extend these learning opportunities to those who might not otherwise have access.
My goal is to contribute to a more equitable future by advocating for reparations, solidarity, dismantling oppressive structures, and fostering inclusivity. This commitment marks an ongoing journey toward justice, and I invite others to join me in this vital pursuit.
HOW IT WORKS
For Donors:
Make a donation of any amount you can afford.
Once donations reach 80% of a class price, I add the remaining 20%.
The first person on the list receives an offer for access to a class.
For Seekers:
Leave your details and the desired class you wish to attend.
Wait until we've reached our donation goal.
Upon reaching the goal, I'll contact you with free access to your class.
